Good stand but starting to wear

I've been gigging with this stand for over one year now and it's done a great job. It's nice and sturdy with good build quality. It's taken the weight of a jazz Real Book easily but I'm mostly using the iPad on it these days.

The stand detaches into 2 pieces which is handy for storage and transportation purposes. The only downside is the clamp that holds the stand on has started to wear. When I fold the stand with the music holder upside down it tends to fall out onto the floor now. There have been some late night crashes onto the pavement when unloading my gear from the car! Fortunately the clamp holds firm when in the upright position so it still works fine.

It is a bit overkill, we now also use it to put our laptop on it, to read sheet music on the computer screen: no problem. Even our cat sat on it, which was not our intention, but it kept its balans...
