Ezrak 16.03.2023
Really good guitar for the price, have received the guitar in perfect conditions and the build of this guitar is the closest i saw to a high end build that costs thousands of euros.

Very good guitar for beginers
Yous1f 25.07.2024
The Ibanez AZES-40 MGR is an exceptional guitar that combines versatility, playability, and style. As a member of the AZ Essentials series, this model aims to offer high-quality features at an accessible price point. Here's a breakdown of its key attributes:

Design and Build Quality
The AZES-40 MGR sports a sleek, modern design with a beautiful Metallic Green finish that stands out. The poplar body is lightweight yet robust, making it comfortable for extended playing sessions. The maple neck with a Jatoba fretboard provides a smooth, fast playing experience, and the 22 medium frets are well-finished, ensuring no sharp edges.

Hardware and Electronics
Equipped with a trio of Essentials single-coil pickups, the AZES-40 MGR delivers a wide range of tones suitable for various genres, including indie, jazz, and blues. The 5-way pickup selector switch, along with the dyna-MIX8 switching system, offers impressive tonal flexibility, allowing you to switch between different voicings effortlessly.

Playability
Ibanez has done an excellent job in making this guitar highly playable. The neck profile is comfortable, and the medium-sized frets make both chordal and solo work easy. The T106 tremolo bridge adds to the guitar's versatility, enabling subtle vibrato effects without compromising tuning stability.

Sound
The sound of the AZES-40 MGR is where it truly shines. The single-coil pickups provide a clear, articulate tone with enough warmth for jazz and blues and enough brightness and punch for indie and rock. The dyna-MIX8 system expands the tonal palette, making this guitar suitable for a wide range of musical styles.

Value
Considering its price point, the Ibanez AZES-40 MGR offers exceptional value. It combines quality construction, versatile electronics, and excellent playability, making it an ideal choice for both beginners and experienced players looking for a reliable, affordable instrument.

Conclusion
The Ibanez AZES-40 MGR is a well-rounded guitar that doesn't compromise on quality or features. Whether you're just starting out or are an experienced player looking for a versatile addition to your collection, this guitar is worth considering. Its combination of style, sound, and playability makes it a standout option in its price range.

I
Long time Ibanez fan, disappointed
Ibenez 26.06.2024
Low quality control. There was literally a piece of fabric wedged under the fret. Can’t wait to pack up a brand new guitar and post it back to Thomann at my own expense.

Ein wirklich tolle Gitarre zum kleinen Preis
Carsten J 26.08.2022
Also eine grundsolide Gitarre!
