The build quality is poor - I had to do some manipulation (pushing pieces back together to secure them, sanding down one leg to get rid of the great big blob of hardened varnish that made the whole thing unstable) before it could be safely used. The ‘felt’ on the supports was peeling off and the whole thing feels cheap and flimsy. I’m not mad as I know it wasn’t expensive and I am indeed using the stand for my viola at the moment. However it is only a cheap instrument, I certainly would not trust this stand for any instrument that you care very deeply about. I was expecting better I have to say. Make your own judgement I suppose, other people have had satisfactory experiences with this stand so maybe I just got a poor example.

Aspect bois sympas, finition correct , j'utilise le stand pour mes violons et mon alto.

Der hölzerne Violin-/Viola-Ständer ist klein, kompakt und einfach zu handeln. Stabilität ist auch gegeben - weder meine Violine, noch meine Viola (vom eher größeren Kaliber) wackeln darin und kippen tut auch nichts!

Von der Verarbeitung her - eher mau. Das Holz ist unsauber lackiert (ersichtliche Stellen mit zu viel Lack) und die Sprießen des Faltmechanismus haben zum Teil Risse an den Bohrlöchern, was die Funktionalität allerdings in meinem Fall nicht beeinflusst.

Alles in Allem: Wenn man nicht unbedingt etwas für's Auge braucht ist dieses Produkt gut genug!
