Zum Sound:
Hatte zuvor einen aktiven LR Baggs M1 in Gebrauch, der jedoch aufgrund seiner aktiven Technologie (Zusammenschaltung zweier Single Coil Signale) konstruktionsbedingt zu Phasenproblemen/Auslöschungen bestimmter Frequenzen neigte.
Da der Neo-Buster komplett passiv aufgebaut ist zeigt er diese Tendenz nicht und produziert aus meiner Sicht für einen magnetischen Pickup einen sehr ausgewogenen und runden Sound.
Der Ausgangspegel ist jedoch deutlich geringer als bei den aktiven Varianten und führt je nach Eingangsempfindlichkeit des verwendeten Verstärkers zu einem gewissen Grundrauschen.
Zur Montage:
Die Montage ist simpel (auch ohne die Saiten lösen zu müssen) jedoch musste ich um einen perfekten Sitz im Center Soundhole meiner Yamaha CPX zu gewährleisten den beiliegenden Gummiring etwas auffüttern.
