Excellent speaker for old school sound.
I got this speaker for my old Peavey 215 cab from the 70s. This is the small/narrow version of the 215 Peavey cab from the 70s. Due to a rather small cab volume not all speakers perform well in these cabs. The CB158 is perfect! Excellent lows, defined mids and sweet/soft highs. For some modern genres the highs may be a little too soft but for classic rock they are absolutely amazing! Highly recommended!

love it... or love it!
Bought this speaker as replacement for a small old studio combo. Had doubts about if it would reproduce low frequencies very well in such a small box. Surprise: not only it reproduces very well every single deep bass note, but also adds character, reminding those old bass sounds of the seventies. Never muddy, has a very solid low thump!
