São consideravelmente mais caras que os conjuntos de cordas que utilizava antes de outras marcas, no entanto estas Elixir valem cada cêntimo.
Costumava sofrer bastante com a transpiração nas cordas. Perdia o timbre em poucos dias e as cordas ganhavam corrosão em 1 ou 2 semanas. Estas elixir aguentam o timbre durante semanas e duram 3 ou 4 vezes mais do que as cordas que utilizava.
Para além disso, esta combinação de medidas de cordas é simplesmente perfeita para mim, que gosto de ter cordas mais grossas em cima para os palm mutes e também gosto de ter cordas finas em baixo para os bends. Perfeitas! Não compro nem mais uma corda de outra marca. Utilizadas na afinação Standard E.

I have settled on Elixir after trying most big string brands.

My hands get quite sweaty, this is the only brand that has the strings last for a reasonable time before corroding.

The sound is also really really good, the optiweb is not a lot better than nanoweb, but the difference is enough for me to look for these every time.

Now for the gauge, the 10-52 is great if you want that punchy rhythm chug on the power chords but do not want to do a lot of effort to bend. It works well for E standard, D standard or drop C tunings alike. Too bad the local shops don't stock enough of them and elixir is not selling packs of 10.
