Lovely overdrive quitar pedal (and with moog voyager 😉)

Great sound, lovely drive and more (not harsh, only if you want it to sound harsh)
I use the Westwood Eathquaker with Gibson LP, Fender strat, tele and Koch, Hughes & Kettner, Fender amp. Sounds also very good with my Moog synth.

Been using this pedal for some years. A very versatile pedal with simple EQ features and volume. You can quickly change your tone from a transparent boost to a low-gain boost to an amp-like crunch. If you dial the drive to the max you'll get almost a fuzz tone. One of my favorite pedals.

Der Westwood ist für mich eines der besten Overdrives da draußen der großen Welt (selbstverständlich habe ich nicht alle durchgetestet :D ).

Das Pedal kann gut mit anderen Verzerrern zusammen arbeiten. Ich nutze es in Verbindung mit dem Boss Blues Driver in immer wieder veränderter Reihenfolge. Wenn von beiden nur der Westwood eingeschaltet ist, sogt er für einen leicht schmutzigen Clean-Sound. Gemeinsam mit dem Bluesdriver wird es ein fuzz-artiger Overdrive-Sound. Das Pedal kann aber auch alleine wesentlich heftigere Overdrive-Sounds. Andererseits kann es auch als (beinahe-)Clean-Booster eingesetzt werden.

Die Verarbeitung des Pedals ist top; die Bedienung ist selbsterklärend. Von den Features her sind die Regler für Bass und Treble vollkommen ausreichend. Wer seine Mitten noch etwas boosten möchte, kann einen EQ vorschalten, aber wirklich vermissen tut man einen Mid-Regler beim Westwood nicht.
Gut gelungen empfinde ich die Input- und Output-Buchsen an der Stirnseite, denn dadurch kann seitlich Platz sparen – vor allem, wenn man noch mehr Pedale mit den Buchsen an der Stirnseite hat. Nicht so gut gelungen ist die wahnsinnig helle LED – gut für Open-Air-Gigs um die Mittagszeit; für Daheim empfehle ich die "Rockboard LED Damper Large" zu verwenden.

Mehr gibt's dann auch nicht mehr zu sagen, als dass ich das Pedal weiter empfehlen kann!
