I know it's not the original "tape" delay, it's a digital replication, but man, it does sound superb.
Perfect for solos and for rhythm sections. Instant 70's early 80's tone. You won't find it on any other delay pedal.
Construction is also quite robust, and the knobs DON'T move easily. I've had the guitar cable stumble on it and the knobs didn't move, great so you don't loose your settings.
It also comes with some cool Echoplex stickers, nice touch.

I was searching for months for a delay that does the job in addition to my other pedals. I tried some other delays but i was having issues with my sound (muddy sound, weird repeats) After a long search i debated between el capistan and echoplex and i choose echoplex for the simplicity and space on my pedalboard.
Amazing sound, it doesnt mess with my other pedals in a bad way and its really simple to use. Worth the price!
