Finally, without switch!
ZickZack 14.01.2014
I used Dunlop wahs for a long time and always liked the sound very much. But I’ll struggled very often with switch to activated the wah. As you can imaging, it’s a horror when you press down the pedal in order to switch the wah on, e.g. for a solo, but than it didn’t work. I had that several times and it stressed me a lot.
But with the Crybaby 95Q this wouldn’t happened anymore. You press the pedal and it wahs, you take off your foot of the pedal and it don’t wahs anymore. Perfect!
I don’t use the other features of the 95Q, maybe I’ll figure out some days what’s about it and if it’s useful to me.

The best.
Anónimo 25.05.2015
So here's the deal. I have tried many wah's and nothing compares to this beast. I own Kemper Rack and I still have to keep this one on my pedalboard just in case I need it.

The sound is amazing. You can set from nice comfort phase to real Wah-Wah wankng.

Also the build quality is what amazes me. I don't use this only like a jazz musician. I stand on it with one foot while pressed and used (85kg), jump on it and swing with it and it keeps on working like nothing.

I can promise you. If I can't get break it, so can't you. Trust me.

Good Wah Pedal
Nerz 28.05.2017
This is a good pedal and excellently built as you would come to expect from Dunlop Crybaby's. It performs well and compares to precious wah's from Dunlop.

A cool extra feature is the adjustable Q control which allows you to adjust the frequency sweep of the pedal.

It also has adjustable volume which can come in handy.

It will remain on my board for many years to come.

Great auto on/off Wah
Barry8327 05.02.2015
I like playing Steve Vai stuff on guitar and wanted this instead of a Morley, because of its greater treble and its auto on/off (just move the pedal to activate it). Its true bypass, so no noise when off and gives a wide range wah.

Amp on Clean = terrific wah, really nice funk, blues expressive.
Amp on Clean + overdrive pedal = terrific wah, really nice funk, blues expressive, but a little hiss
Amp on Dirty + overdrive pedal = good wah, can get muddy, but still clear enough to achieve full depth wah scoops, with some hiss

I mention hiss, but that's just at high gain, and not noticed when playing in a band volume.

One of the bettere Wahs
DominicJ 10.10.2014
I think we are all looking for the perfect Wah Tone. I started my wah-career with the all-time classic, the Dunlop GCB-95 Cry Baby Wah Wah. Although it's a great starting point if you want to look whether you like to use a wah or not, I was very disappointed with the poor buffer that's built into the GCB-95 and the overall lack of bass in the pedal-up position. Soon after I purchased the GCB-95 and after I decided that I really like the sound of a Wah Wah, I looked around for a model that would fit my requirements. I took a closer look on the 95Q, because I really liked the idea of the built-in auto-off function and the addition of an EQ-pot. Although I didn't really needed the Boost-function, I thought it would be a nice feature to have. After the really fast delivery by Thomann, I checked the pedal out and I really liked it. It's a really classic Wah-Sound known from many recordings. The EQ-Pot is really helpful to make the pedal fit in your setup, because it can get from really bassy up to screaming highs. I used the Boost to make me louder while playing a solo, because Wahs often tend to be quieter than your average volume, so you won't be heard in a band context. The bypass was a lot better than the one built in the GCB-95 that lacked of highs and mids. I think the auto-off function is a great feature, because the switch built into the GCB-95 was really hard to activate and without a LED you often forget to turn the pedal off when not in use. The only disadvantage about the auto-off function is the fact that you can't use the Wah in lower positions, because there it will turn off. But nevertheless it's a great wah!

ME
Oldie but goldie
Matt E. 28.05.2013
Optical Wah pedals aren't everyone's cup of tea, however I've broken enough pedal boards in half to know that this is worth every penny. Not only is it easier on the bones, it's still great on the ear, Dunlop crybabies have the ability to really 'cry' and whine at the higher end of the EQ envelope, being able to adjust the Q is also a bonus for those of us who are a bit more perticular about where the curve occurs in a blistering solo. Additional volume and input signal button are also a massive bonus, this is a great sounding easy to use sturdy and reliable pedal. If I broke mine and it was beyond repair I'd buy another one in a heartbeat. Excellent pedal.

For me, the best wah
Anónimo 18.08.2016
I used to have both crybabys and morleys. Well, this is the best of both worlds: switchless and crybaby's sounding. Moreover, the controls offers more possibility that classic crybaby.

Good Wah pedal
Vlaho 15.03.2016
True to original, but with nice extra options.

Q control lets you adjust pedals band pass and extra volume boost controls let you add +15dB gain.

Original wah will always make a cut that you will perceive as volume decrease, but with volume boost you can actually not only compensate, but also add for your solo.

I like that it is immediately active when you step on it, and you don't have to click to set it off.

It is still quite large and heavy pedal, and will take a lot of space on pedal board.
