This is just not a fully working expression pedal.

This pedal will not go the full range in the RTS-setting, and will max out to 100% in the 1/4 to forward position on the TRS-setting rendering it almost useless in most situations I planned to use this. I bought two and both have the same problem so it is not a production error, it's a major design flaw.

Ich habe nach einem Expression-Pedal für mein doch sehr beengtes Pedalboard gesucht, zur Steuerung verschiedener Parameter meines G-Major2.
Nach meiner "Rasterfahndung" bzgl. Größe, Optik und passiver Funktionsweise blieben nicht viele Geräte übrig und mir hat das DOD am besten gefallen, selbst wenn der Preis doch sehr hoch ist.
Nach dem Auspacken war ich zuerst sehr angetan, da das Metallgehäuse und die Schwellerplatte einen sehr wertigen Eindruck gemacht haben.
Leider musste ich auch gleich feststellen, dass die Wippe sehr schwergängig ist und sie sich selbst mit dem Fuß nicht schnell bewegen lässt. Leider kann auch diesbzgl. nicht viel eingestellt werden, da die Zahnreihe der Wippe über 3 weitere Plastikzahnräder übersetzt wird.
Nach ein bisschen probieren ging dann wohl ein Zahrad durch oder hat seine Zähnchen verloren. Es war dann sehr leicht zu bedienen ;-), funktionierte aber nicht mehr. Somit ging das Teil zurück und ich muss mich nach einer Alternative umschauen. Dieses ist definitiv durchgefallen.

Fazit:
außen hui, innen pfui! Wenngleich die Verarbeitung grundsätzlich sehr gut ist, ist die Mechanik im Inneren nicht für die Ewigkeit gemacht, ist sehr schwergängig und der Preis ist viel zu hoch. Schade!

Best small expression pedal

This is my favourite expression pedal. I don't care for the large 2kg units. This fits easily in my pedalboards and operates smoothly. The geardrive is a bit stiff compared to wah wahs with pot operation. It depends on what you are used to.

This works great for volume swells and whammy, and also for wah at least for me. I use it with Headrush Gigboard, HX Stomp and Source Audio pedals.
