Love this microphone. I have used it live for everything starting from speech to instruments and even choir. I have also recorded 2 cd's with the vocal being recorded on the ae5400. The clarity of this microphone is up there with the very best. It is also surprisingly resistant too, a clumsy lady once dropped it head first onto tiles...I was sure there was going to be something damaged...but it just took a few seconds for the 48v to re-stabilize and it was working fine :)

Very good for live performance!

The sound is good, this mic can be in one line with "neumann kms 105". Very sensitive, and bright.

Habe noch einem guten Gesangsmikro für mich und meine Frau gesucht ohne preisliche Einschränkungen in Kauf nehmen zu müssen. Somit haben wir unter Live-Bedingungen verschiedene Kondensator Mikros der Top-Liga getestet (z.B. Neumann KMS104, Shure KSM9, ...). In der Endauswahl waren das Neumann sowie das Audio Technica. Hier hat uns beiden das Audio Technica deutlich besser gefallen, da der Klang nach unserem Empfinden mehr Wärme und Charakter hat und klarer wirkt. Wir haben uns beide für dieses Mikro entschieden, da es uns absolut überzeugt hat. Zudem für 150 weniger als andere Top-Kondensator-Mikros ein klarer Preis-Leistungs-Tipp!
