Ich habe mir ein 12er und ein 14er Aquarian 14" American Vintage Medium Fell für meine beiden Toms eines Vintage Pearl Bop Sets gekauft. In Kombination mit den Ahornkesseln liefern die Toms nun genau den von mir gewünschten Sound. Das HT ist eher hochgestimmt, das FT eher loose mit viel Bass.
Die Felle "fühlen" sich beim Spiel, auch mit dem Besen sehr gut an und reproduzieren einen warmen, resonanten Sound.
Ich spielte ausschliesslich Remo Ambassador coated Heads und konnte mich bisher mit dem Sound und der Haptik von Aquarian Fellen nicht viel anfangen. Diese Felle hier sind eine Ausnahme und können von mir sehr empfohlen werden.
