It's the second time i buy one of these and it works just perfect. I use one for my ipad and will be using this for an iphone. It does the job, very useful for connecting several devices to an iphone / ipad. I recommend it!

I tried a cheap generic usb adapter for the ipad which had patchy performance particularly with midi, it would work for a short period then just stop without warning. So I bit the bullet and purchased the official apple kit which is much more reliable (and should be considering the price), This will also charge your ipad during use, which is definitely a good thing.

My only criticism is that, given that they are so expensive, they could just make the cable a bit longer, so as not to put strain on the connector.
