Best pre amp you can get.

It’s our core pre amp in the studio and it’s harmonics makes this the perfect pre amp to record vocals (or any source really). The Legendary 1073 EQ is unbelievable and we also use it on sources that weren’t necessarily recorded with the preamp. We went back to old mixes just to give that lovely Neve high freq boost. It’s a must have.

Solid piece of gear!

First time open it, just knew how solid it is. Very sturdy chasis, will survive the earthquake. And the sound quality has blown me away. The EQ quite aggressive but I love it, very sensitive and on point.

The preamp itself is magic, I put almost all mono instrument and vocal to it. I am a plugin user of 1073 before and when I can afford this one, it is second to none.

The hardware version is simply magic

Neve 1073 is it's own special thing, and paired with the right mic it's a dream. Even more so with the EQ. It's everything you would expect from this legendary preamp. Loving the metering options and all the bells and whistles the SPX has. DI also sounds great!
