Great replacement nut
After swapping out the strings on my bass for some significantly thicker gauge strings and having to file the nut slots to accept the thicker strings, I realised that I needed something a bit more flexible if I was to return to regular guage strings.
Installation was relatively simple, though I had to move the truss rod cover on my bass (Ibanez GSR180) as this nut is maybe 2mm thicker than the original (It's also about 2mm narrower, which means the strings are marginally closer together at the nut, though I'm not too concerned as it doesn't seem to have affected the intonation at all). I still need to do a bit more work to get the string height correct, such as filing a bit of a slot into the neck for the baseplate to sit in as it's just a bit too high currently, but other than that minor issue this has been a breeze to install and set up.

Superb adjustable nut - ideal string height possible
Rather than hope your bass nut is glued in the right place and will never wear, this adjustable nut is totally brilliant and still sounds good. I think only a zero fret is better. This should be on every bass!

Great replacement nut, much better than the original
Unfortunately on my Rockbass Corvette the original nut broke and I had no repair shop near by. So I ordered this replacement part and tried my luck in repairing it on my own.
With a courageous hit I removed the old nut, sanded off the old glue and then glued in the new nut. All worked fine!
Now I have a nut that seems to be much more sturdy, is easier to position and fine-tune, looks nice and did not destroy the sound of the bass. I even imagine the sound has improved a bit... But I'm not really sure. My mind might play tricks on me.
But all in all it seems to me as if it was a good tradeoff. Great nut!

Great alternative to standard bass nuts
These Tedur Just a Nut IIIs are a great upgrade over standard plastic and bone nuts on most bass guitars. They are easy to instal and their design means you can set the nut height action very easily with a small allen key rather than hack away at your nut with a file!
If you change you string gauge in the future you can then just re-adjust the nut height rather than having to get the file out again.

Fantastic idea.
Probably the best idea for a nut, ever. I wish Warwick would make also a guitar version of it...If someone talks to them, please tell them ! :)
