Great!
I've had this case for about five years now I think, and boy did this thing take a beating. I've used it for all kinds of rack gear and it has seen a handful of countries, tens of dozens of venues and many, many thousands of kilometres in the back of the car, wedged in between, or underneath guitar cases, cabinets en loose gear.
The black panels are made of plastic, which worried me a bit in the beginning, but this material has absolutely proven itself over time. Added advantage is that this case is fairly light weight.
So if you're looking to score a compact, easy to carry and sturdy as heck 3U case: don't hesitate and buy it!

good solution with little project mistakes...
Thon Rack Is a 3.unit rack very light, compact , with ergonomic design and a good stability and handling
I use the rack to transport my racks unit in theater tours, and rack work very well. the machine inside is safe and good blocked.
Materials are not bad , structure is safe but can be a little bit stronger.
the big mistakes for me are hinges and handle on covers; rack can be put on a orizontal surface only by one side, and it could be a problem in some situations.
yes: cost, materials, safety
no: hings, position on stage, endurance

Don't be fooled by the word "economy"
This item was purchased to house 4x radio mic receivers on a 19" rackshelf. I had worked out there was enough room to get the power supply's in as well with a small 4 way loom. Good solid construction, good quality fittings. The case has also been used to house a couple graphic EQs and presently a shallow 1U amp and crossover. So, good quality, multi use, very good price, and always good delivery. Long standing Thomann customer.

Light and strong
I've bought 2 of these cases, one to hold a Kemper profiling amp and one to hold my rack equipment. I'm very happy with these cases as they are pretty light, but still more than strong enough to protect my gear.
Pros:
- Light
- Strong enough
- Depth of the case (no need for a too large flightcase)
- Price
Cons:
- none
Overall, a nice rack case for a good price.

Solid case for a great price
Good budget case for carrying gear around safely. Definitely not a legit flight case mainly due to materials used and closing mechanism, but really good for car travel or safely moving small bits of equipment from studio to studio. Great price and good build quality overall! I would recommend to other buyers!

Economy case
Lightweight = very nice
Good enough for most cases, maybe not for world touring.

Thon Rack 3U Eco II 35
I trawled Internet/eBay etc for a lightweight flightcase & it came as no surprise that Thomann beat them all (again).
Perhaps not the toughest case but it's more for cosmetic protection & ease of transport. Side latches for front & back lids look lik they can take a paddock which is a nice little feature.
Overall a great budget case ... cheers Thomann :)

Does th job
I use this to protect my EBS TD650. I didn't want to add too much weight so this plastic case seemed just right. The plastic seems sturdy and holds upp just fine during transport so far. I don't know how it would react if dropped or handled roughly though. The locks appears to be the weakest part of the construction. No problems so far, but they feel a bit on the light side compared to butterflies or similar. Especially since the (only) handle is located on one of the lids. Overall a very descent case, especially at this price point. Recommended.

Exactly as expected!
A great little flight case for the money, not going to be able to drive over it in a van or send it to LA and back but for a lightweight equipment case it is perfect. Well made, nice features.

Great value
I bought this to house a couple of witless receivers and a 15 band eq. I could have got the case that was less deep, but I like to have my equipment wired up and ready to go. With this one I was able to mount a surge protection power bar in the back and have everything plugged in ready to go. I also have 1.5m xlr leads coiled up inside the back hooked up to the wireless gear ready to pull out and plug into the desk when I land at a gig. All the metal strips and clasps are built to last. It feels solid. Good value for money.
