first problem was that the bloody English post office had been playing football with the case, so it was dented/broken when it arrived...''ooh look , it says 'fragile', lets see how hard we can kick it'' (bastids!) however, thomann sent me labels to return it and within a week I had a new and undented case arrive! the postman must have not had time to dance on it that day!! is the case as strong and well made as a Hiscox?( I have one for my Takamine) no, but its a third of the price! however it IS well made and strong enough for most purposes, its a good fit round the edges, has a lockable latch, easy to use, nicely designed, has a pocket for strings/strap. and looks fab. I think thomann needs to make it very clear in their advertising that it will NOT fit a regular dreadnought guitar it fits my Yamaha ls6 which is a ''triple 0'' size, but it'd nice to fit a dreadnought too!! very good for the money .. A bargain!. id get a better case, if id spent a LOT on an acoustic, but for low/mid price guitars (say up to 500 squid) its more than adequate! good old thomann, ..they're a lot cheaper than GB prices.. I paid 53 euros(£42 quid) cheapest locally was over £60 !
Great value case. There's the smallest bit of 'give' if you press hard on the top, but for ¤55, you can't wrong. It's solid, and protects the guitar well between gigs, in a van etc. Might be a little less sure if it's going on to a plane. Overall great quality.
