Good looking, good sounding ukulele - a delight to play

This ukulele is very reaonably priced for one made of solid acacia. The tone is very good and it is a very attractive, well-made instrument made in Portugal. With a scale length of 395 mm it is slightly larger than a usual concert ukulele with a scale length of about 380 mm. This is a probably a factor in giving it a good tone. It doesn't come with a gigbag, but this is not a problem as it fits inside a Rockbag, available from Thomann. Under related products on the page for the ukulele, Thomann show the Ibanez gigbag, but this is unlikely to be large enough. Thomann recommended the Rockbag. The fixing of the strings at the bridge is unconventional as the strings go back inside the body of the ukulele, where they are knotted; access is through the sound hole. This makes changing strings more complicated. However, there doesn't seem to be any reason why the strings cannot be tied at the end of the brifge in a more conventional fashion, which is what I shall do when I change them. All in all I am delighted with the purchase.

LOVELY tone Use

I don't want a nikname 13.09.2023

I really like this. It has a bright, warm tone. It looks and feels beautiful. And stays in tune pretty well. there's one or two frets that make tuning it a little more involved, (trying to match open strings with fretted notes) but once you get it, it sounds great.

Spaß mit der Ukulele

Als Späteinsteiger und totaler Musikneuling habe ich mich nach monatelangem Bemühen mit einer Ukulele aus dem Discount für dieses Modell entschieden. Das Design sowie die Verarbeitung sind optisch wunderschön, im Vergleich zu meinem bisherigen Instrument ist der Klang viel harmonischer und voller. Auch hält sie die Stimmung wesentlich länger.
Das Spielen mit diesem Instrument macht viel Spaß, leider ist die Qualität der gespielten Musik jedoch stark vom Akteur abhängig.
