Great Value But ....

As Cajons go, I doubt you'll do better on price and as a kit project - it should be a pretty simple build. After all, it's basically a box and should be really straightforward especially when the timber comes pre-cut to size.
In fact, the most difficult part of making a Cajon is cutting the sound-hole.
And that's the problem. The sound-hole is not pre-cut. You've got to cut it yourself.
Not so easy - unless you've got the right tools and not everyone has a fret saw or jigsaw - the recommended tools according to the instructions.
Pre-cutting the sound-hole would take no time at all at the factory workshop where these kits are made and would make assembly far easier for those of us who are not carpenters.
That said, when I eventually managed to cut the sound-hole - I had a nice Cajon at a great price.
