Great general purpose microphones; fantastic value for the money. We use these all the time in our studio, mainly for rehearsals. Bands playing all types & volumes of music have found no problem with them for lead & backing vocals. Also, harmonica players have also used this mic & still be heard. When I think back some 25 years to microphones costing under £20, there is absolutely no comparison. Whereas in those days, you had a mic unusable for band work, this is the exact opposite. This mic is sturdy, loud, with great range, & well made. We used these at a festival promotion last summer as we needed some 10 mics on an all day stage set up. No one had any concerns with these rugged mics, which offered pretty much the same quality as your Shure SM58. Highly recommended.
Brought this microphone on a budget to use live in the band, the appearance is deceiving as it appears to be nothing but a cheap karaoke microphone but nothing could be further from the truth as this blew me away! Sounds absolutely great, naturally has a excellent frequency spectrum and requires little eq to cut it and more in the live sound world, its a loud output mic so requires less gain too! We wil be purchasing more from the T.Bone line and cant recommend this highly enough we also have the Mb57 beta which is also amazing!
