A good MIDI cable. Reliable but unfortunately not repairable if it ever does malfunction.
This is an excellent MIDI cable for the price. Also the color is a strong selling point for me - over the years I've started using specific colors for specific instruments, and so when performing onstage it's easy to keep track of what is connected to what and diagnose the occasional problem, if one is ever to arise.
The cable seems to be very reliable, I've been using it for years with no problems.
There are just two small complaints that I have.
Firstly, the actual metal housing at each end is not super thick/robust metal. Some MIDI cables have housings that you could drive over without denting them at all. These are of a metal thin enough that if you step on them forcefully, they will deform.
Secondly, some MIDI cables have removable MIDI jacks at each end that can be disassembled and repaired as needed. That is luckily not a problem I've run into with this cable, but I think it's good to have equipment that you can repair when it encounters problems. With this cable, the entire end of the cable is enclosed in a hard formed plastic that you cannot take apart without destroying the whole thing. Non-modifiable or repairable.
Other than that, a great cable. Nice bright color, would buy again if needed.
