yes but....

It is a value for money speaker but it has a conditions. The tweeter isn't so "clear" and sometimes it stops working.

Powerful, good bass, reasonably portable

This really does seem to pack a punch, with decent bass response. It's not too heavy or large for a monitor of this power and speaker size.

It has a line/mic input that can accept XLR or jack and a volume control. Abslutely fine but doesn't offer any added flexibility if you wanted to use it on it's own for a small PA setup.

The only issue is that there seems to be a mains hum that is louder than usual, although that might be my wiring, or maybe compared to my other active speakers it just has a much better response at 50 Hz.
