A fabulous very high quality superior beefy interconnect. Sommer Cable have a superb reputation and are my preferred go-to VHQ brand, especially when I'm making up my own leads and want to obtain that something extra in top quality sonic performance. Requires largish 7mm diameter connector apertures if your doing DIY assembly. Easy to solder. But why DIY at this silly Thomann price???
XXL works splendidly with high end & valve/tube amp, instruments, synths, keyboards - even in guitar amp analog line signal chains too. Suits stage/touring or studio usage. The Spirit XXL has very subtle, insightful & even-handed audio qualities. It's definitely worth paying that bit extra for the amazing rewards & high end performance that this analog TRIPLE shielded XXL calibre cable offers. Highly recommended.

Good but a little stiff
This cable has real good suond quality but it's a bit stiff, so it's not ideal if you move a lot on stage. I've got 2 that I bought when they costed half the price, and splitted one in 3 parts to get three 7m cables, a real big bang for the buck back then. Would I buy it at this price now? Probably not, but if you are bad at soldering and need a 20m cable, go for it.

Buy this cable over much more expensive brands!!
This is without a shadow of a doubt, the best guitar cable i have ever used. It looks fantastic, its smokey clear gold out insulation nicely shows off the high quality dense braid underneath. I have several of these in my gear stash, the first i use as intended at 20m, it maintains a strong signal with minimal loss of high end despite the length of the cable, the jack plugs that come fitted are weighty and VERY high quality, really robust and extremely well connected to the cable. I also cut this 20m cable down into two lots of 10m, the cable was extremely well put together with high quality insulation, dielectrics and braiding as well as a thick and high quality core. Top drawer product from Sommer.

Messes up the sound
The cable has a very good quality, but the sound gets silenced in the cable. An overdrive pedal cranced up with gain, can't send the signal undisturbed. I'm very sad myself, because i can't really use it. Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but i compared it to a 6m cable, and the 6m cable didn't silence the sound.

Extremely tough and hardwearing
This is great cable. It is low noise, reliable and resists tangling.
Like others, I bought this as a cheap way of getting 20m of cable, cut it into lengths and added Neutrik plugs.
I would certainly buy again, but I won't need to for a long time!

Large wire gauge, great tone.
I actually bought this and cut it in 3 6m instrument cables (plus some extra for patch cables). Great cable for that price. Wider gauge means less resistance and easier to maintain good tone.
Plugs on both end seem great quality also. Nothing bad to say so far :)

Great flexible cable
I bought it to make a patch cables for my pedalboard and I can' t imagine a better cable for that purpose. It's very flexible, transparent and durable. I like it so much that I made two instrument cables as well. I can't imagine using anything else now!

Well priced
I bought this as it was well priced as just cable, and I have chopped it up into smaller sections to make a 10m cable & 2 fives. Very pleased with the tone and the flexibility of the cable for it's thickness. I would buy more of these

Very High Quality cable
I use this to record guitars & never thought a cable this length could be so low noise.I really expected a buildup of at least some noise but there is none.
