Nice cable but too stiff!

I make my own cables and have considerable wiring experience.
I like cloth covered cables for my instruments because they should tangle less and are less likely to cling to anything they wrap around on stage, (di box, tuner, microphone stand or my feet!).
This cable is sonically great with various acoustic pickups on acoustic guitar, mandolin and electric guitar.
Unfortunately it is too stiff and so kinks easily in use, I was originally hoping to make it up as 6 metre cables but due to its kink Ines have kept lengths down to 3 metres.
The second problem I found was that after heatshrink wrapping the ends the overall width was too great for standard Neutric jacks, I got them on but only with a lot of persuasion after filing out the strain reliefs slightly with a round file.
Neutric do make a larger sleeve fitting jack the NP2Xl but not sure if that's for sale on Thomann and it does not come in a right angle version which I like on guitar cables.
The cable does look very nice!

think before using it as your patch cable in your pedalboard

If you are thinking to get this cable for your patch cables on your pedalboard, just consider it's quite difficult to handle/assembly it because of the fabric "wrapping" the cable, getting loose quite easily. Apart from that, quality of this cable is spot-on.

Good quality cable but hard to loop

Great sounding cable and easy to wire.

The only issue I found was it can be hard to loop the cable due to the fabric outer sleeve.

Un très bon cable

Voilà un câble de très bonne qualité qui conjugue esthétique et son.

Points positifs : un câble semi rigide et fin. Un look sympa qui s'harmonise bien.

Points négatifs : La gaîne de tissu se détresse lorsque le câble est coupé ce qui rend plus difficile un montage propre.

Un câble que j'utilise souvent avec des jacks Neutrick et que je peux comparer à beaucoup d'autres marques très connues.
