Solid Versatile Unit.
I initially bought a couple of these units just for the warm aesthetic that they bring to some live recording sessions I was filming. Used just to add warmth to my shots, never actually to blind, which they did quite well.
Though I also have 2 of these units mounted at the back of the stage in my venue and they will absolutely blind you when necessary.
For small freelance shows I've started using these as a front-wash as well. Which they do very well due to the warm tones that these lamps produce.
Get yourself a good little DMX controller and these Blinders are great and, as I've laid out, very versatile.

If overheats - stays turned on
I use them as front blinders, once I used them instead of front par cans, and it realy wasn't great idea, if you let them shine for too long, it will overheat and it will cause them to stay turned on even if you dimm them. So after this I decided to modify them with thermal fuse so i dont run into same problems ever again.
Overall good product, just dont let them full on for longer periods...

Small powerfull blinder
Perfect from the small stages, to the big outdoor.
Much power from this little fixture.

Great blinders for indoor events and festivals.
I bought four of these blinders for the purposes of lighting up and audience and they don’t disappoint. They’re exactly what’s needed when you have an audience of 1000+.
Just be mindful of the current draw when using a lot of them. Four of these will pull 30 amps when being used together, so ensure the cabling is up to the job. Also take into consideration that these are meant to be used for short bursts of light, and not left on for extended periods. This has caused bulbs to fail (and in some cases explode), so use them sparingly. I learned the hard way.
The units have performed flawlessly and their 1 channel DMX operation make them a breeze to use. I highly recommend them.

Exactly what you'd expect
Pros:
comes with lamps, good housing. Multiple rigging points.
Cons:
Silicon cable on incomer is prone to damage if not treated well.
Dimmer curve a bit slow from cold (possibly no pre-heat)
Overall:
The price of this unit is a major draw. The next best option for me is the HQ power version (which has a faster response time). However, with the lamps being included in the Showtecs price, it becomes a negligable problem. Sure, when mixed with other makes you notice the sluggish reaction time, but in sets of just these, they are fantastic.

Brighter than the sun
These Showtec blinders are fantastic. The output is very high and we purchased four of them.
They are very solid and sturdily built and very easy to use. They took less than 30 seconds to address the DMX and then were ready to use straight away.
The only criticism is the position of the power cable coming out of the back of the unit.
This does inhibit how you can mount the lights because the mounting bracket gets stuck on the power cable.
Other than that they are very good.

Amazing product!
For the price, these things are unreal! I have these in my nightclub and it makes the place look like a concert venue! Great job yet again Thomann!

Great Blinders
Really happy with these.
Massive output for size.
Units are very well build for the money.
Inbuilt dimmers seem to work well.
They get pretty hot when left on for extended periods of time 20mins +. But then you would expect this to happen.
Overall I am very happy with these and will buy more when I need them.

Gawd I love these
Everything is as expected. Nice thick bracket for both horizontal and vertical fitting/hanging. 3-pin DMX in/out. Could have fitted powercon in/out but i'll just do it myself. Comes with all you need, and it's all fitted as well. Not tinkering. Just plug and play!
