I purchased it to replace an original Floyd from the 80s. It is a direct swap of the original floyd rose which was and is made by Schaller. Everything is perfect,the quality,the finish, the parts,the packaging. And the arm stays put!No more wiggles.
It's EXACTLY the same as an original floyd rose it just has the "schaller" branded at the top. Dimensions, weight etc are the same. he quality though is better. It's a more solid unit than an original floyd rose. Can't find a con sorry. I was impressed that it was lightly oiled under the saddles. Talking about german engineering. HIGHLY recommended. If your guitar has a LICENSED floyd rose you need to replace the studs too .

Quality.
Can't really add much to the other reviews, save that I replaced a Jackson JT6 tremolo with this, and the improvement is dramatic.

One of the best replacement Floyd Rose Systems
I bought an Japanise charvel and the previous owner change the original floyd rose system for cheap chinese one. I didn't mind because the price was a bargin, until I started using that guitar a little bit more and fell in love with the neck.
So I decided to upgrade the floyd system, but didnt want to invest 300€+ for a original or german one, so I went with this schaller replacement kit.
After seting the system properly, the guitar stays in tune perfectly. I thing that this is best you can get for the money. Only two things bother me. I didnt mesure the nut on my guitar so I ordered 42mm but the 44 would be better, and the screw on the fine tuning machine could have more rounds. But except for that is all good

This was purchased as a replacement/upgrade for a guitar project where a cheaper brand was being used.
Item comes with everything you require to install the item, claw,springs,nut and fixings,trem post and studs and string retainer with full fitting instructions.
Good construction of product, all movable parts have a good fit and finish to them. Fine adjusters are smooth and have a fair bit of travel on them, trem bar screws in tightly.
When installed correctly and set up, this trem is killer...smooth dive bombs and returns to pitch every time.
Great drop in replacement but check dimensions and nut that you require before you order as I had to order a different size nut for my project.

good tremolo!
I use the tremolo to replace an old original floyd rose.
The sound and quality are very good.
The finish is also ok, no sharp edges.
It stay's in tune for an incredible long time.
Once it is set ok, it stays ok for months, although i play
it regularly and hit it hard.
Overall, a good replacement for old tremolo's.
