Not an exact fit for the Ovation 1868TX-5 Elite T shallow roundback
Pros: Well finished, good looking, lightweight, good protection for the content based on rigid foam pre-molded to fit a shallow roundback, the part facing the strings in the lid is soft cushioned assistintg to keep the instrument gently in place, the case stands upright quite well.
Cons: Although it is intended for an Ovation shallow roundack guitar, the inner pre-molded foam does not exactly match the Ovation 1868TX-5 Elite T that I wanted to protect. This unfit makes impossible to close the case without previously spending some time manually triming the foam. A list of supported Ovation shallow guitars would be appreciated.

Really good for the price
Is made out of plastic and aluminium. Not the toughest case i'e seen for sure, but does its work just well. It's light to transport but sturdy enough. Just make sure your Ovation is the small kind, mine fits in only if I push the case.

Good price for an original case
A solidly built ABS case with a good level of internal padding. The cover on the internal accessory compartment is fairly flimsy and is the poorest aspect of this case in terms of build quality - though this obviously isn't a big deal. I would guess that the case would stand up to considerable punishment with ease and as such offers a excellent level of protection. The guitar is securely held in position when the case is locked, however for an original case designed for the guitar, I would have expected a better fit. The bowl does not appear to fit its cut out perfectly and the upper bout endpin digs into the case lining. For an original case the price is excellent, being only about the same as a none original case.
