Ortega OCJP-GB-L Cajon Pedal left

I purchase this pedal due to the low profile and the direct drive system (since cable operated cajon pedals are all notorious for failing). I couldn't be happier with the quality and durability of this product.

I would only point out that this pedal can also be played with the ball of the foot. It is not limited to heel operation. When using this pedal with the ball of the good, I've found that I can get more power and better speed and control than when using other "foot board" style cajon pedals.

It's a little different, but a great value with smooth and reliable operation.

Je joue du cajon avec le pied tout en jouant la guitare, il me fallait donc une pédale pour gaucher (pour éviter de bouger mon genou sous ma caisse de guitare). Après avoir essayé plusieurs modèles à câbles (qui en plus d'être encombrantes sont fragiles et se cassent rapidement), cette pédale est parfaite, simple à assembler (à part la forme de clé un peu galère), simple et ergonomique à utiliser, de format compact et en plus fourni avec un petit sac bien pratique. Je recommande !

ich habe mir das Ortega-Pedal für den linken Fuß gekauft, weil ich beim Fingerpicking den rechten Fuß ruhig und außerdem auf einem Fußständer stehen haben möchte. Das Pedal bediene ich mit der Ferse, weil ich noch zusätzlich eine Stompbox mit dem Fußballen schlage. Es gibt für Cajons meines Wissens bei dieser Anordnung keine Alternative ohne Seilzug.
Nach Ausprobieren günstigerer aber auch teurer Drumpedale habe ich mich für das Ortega entschieden. Für mich ist die Fußmaschine fast optimal. Es gibt keine Verzögerungen beim Schlag und man kann es so einstellen, dass der Klöppel nicht zu weit von der Schlagfläche entfernt ist. Durch den flachen Schaumstoff-Beater erhält man einen angenehmen Basssound - das kommt natürlich auch auf die Cajon an.
Nun zum "fast optimal": Man muss den Fuß mittig platzieren, weil man sonst abrutschen kann. Eine kleine Metallplatte wäre vielleicht ein guter Zusatz. Die Halterung an der Cajon ist nicht zu 100% fest, sodass sich die Fußmaschine minimal hin und her bewegen kann. Ich verwende deshalb einen Teppich. Mit dem Klettband an der Unterseite erhält man so die nötige Stabilität.
Ich bin kein Schlagzeuger und kenne nicht alle Feinheiten von Fußmaschinen. Für mich persönlich reicht das Ortega aber allemal.
