I have now had three of these elastic shock mounts, and none lasted more than 1 minute of use. The problem is that the screw that tightens the angle of the cradle on the stem is so badly engineered it strips the thread immediately even with minimal tightening, and then the mic flops around and can only be stabilised by taping the mic lead to the mic stand. Really really bad, let me down in two live situations.
There are also two little clips in with the box that contains the actual mic - these are just as useless - you need a broad screwdriver to tighten, and they don't tighten, the soft metal of the very poor quality screw just gives way.
So of 5 supports for these two mics, all 5 that I had were useless.
Strongly suggest getting a third party mount for these otherwise useful pics!
