First of all, and most importantly, these are much lighter than they look in the picture. That was a good thing for me. They look like an aged, yellowed cream color...in reality they are a light aged parchment. They look very nice with my Montreaux pickguard and pickup covers from another manufacturer. I put these on a Fender '60s Classic Lacquer strat that I have reliced myself, so 100% accuracy wasn't my #1 priority, but I'm very happy with these. Much better than I could do myself, and I know because I tried! Not negatives, per se, but my nitpicky observations are that the knobs are pretty dirty looking, lots of build-up in the cracks, and the volume knob was a little lighter than the tone knobs. Maybe this really happens on old guitars, since it gets used a lot more often. I don't know. Also, the trem arm tip didn't fit on my third-party arm. Thankfully, my attempt at relicing my old plastic pieces went pretty well for the trem arm and it matches very nicely. I probably could have made it fit, but I didn't have to. Don't think I would have spend the money on these myself, but I had a gift certificate I was happy to use, and I'm glad I did. These have a great, very authentic look.
