Moeck 5337 Denner Alt a1= 442 Hz
The Denner alto recorder is characterised by its light-as-a-feather response and the balance of timbres in all registers. Her tone is slim and noble with a radiance that gives her an unmistakably solistic character. This flexible instrument offers a high level of playing security in all situations and is therefore particularly suitable for virtuoso music, where speed and agility are important, e.g. for the recorder work of Georg Philipp Telemann. Moeck chose the flute from the Danish Music Museum in Copenhagen as a model for the Denner alto recorder. It is considered by many renowned recorder makers as the best of Denner's surviving instruments.
