Sturdy, feels like good quality, assembly oaky
I use mine as a stand for my Prophet Rev2 desktop. It feels robust, even with a quite elongated setting and heavy load. I was pleasantly supripsed by how sturdy it seems, despite the low price.
Assembly was not difficult but took maybe ten minutes, and changing height once monted probably takes about five minutes. Would not recommend for portable use in a stressfull situation

Basic laptop stand for an affordable price
The stand comes in white box with no labels, and inside you find quite a few pieces and screws and a very simple instruction sheet. However, the item is quite logically built and in a matter of minutes it can be assembled. When finished, the stand feels solid and it supports my 13" MacBook with no problem. The top pieces are equipped with foamy material, so you don't have to worry about your gear falling off or getting scratched. It keeps your laptop or lighter DJ machinery firmly in place, even though the front stoppers aren't so big.
Two big clamps are provided with the item, so with them the stand can be table mounted. When attached with clamps, the stand feels very rigid. In addition, two flat feet are available for regular tabletop use, but then the stand feels a little bit flimsier when stacking heavier items on it. The height and width can be slightly adjusted unlike the angle of the stand.
This laptop stand is perfect for the price, and has served faultlessly in my home studio. It may not be a stand of choice for touring use, as it isn't fully adjustable and features small parts when dismantled, but for the money, it works like a charm.

Versatile
This stand is very versitile. I bought this model because of the possibility of putting flat feet on it (instead of the clamps), as with these feet other material could be put underneath (it comes with strips of thin anti-scratching material that can be glued so that the equipment underneath does not slip nor gets scratched when put on top of these metal feet).
With the regular stand (same model but without the clamps) the bottom feet are higher at the junction so it gives less space to put material underneath (see pictures in Thomann's website for these two models). I use this, for example, to put a MicroKorg underneath (I also glued some rubber feet on the MicroKorg to be sure it does not scratch the metal feet and is floating above these) and a computer laptop on top, or under my axiom 61 to put an expander module synth on top to play with.
I wished maybe the stand could go a little lower at its the minimum height, and ideally that we could control its angle. But really, at this price, you can't really find a stand that is perfectly functional and versitile as this one, as you can also regulate its height (very useful for DJ gear I guess).

Does the job
Nothing more to say, easy to assemble and it does what it’s supposed to do

Functional
Very useful match for Roland TR-8, just note that the clamps extend about 15cm into and 10 cm below whatever surface you attach it to. Mine is warped slightly on one side, but this does not affect performance.

Very nice laptopstand!
A very nice & versatile laptop stand! I've ordered 3 of them to support my laptops and mini keyboards! I don't use the cIamps, but I chose these stands cause they have FLAT legs that can support a second device on them, being stable! I just wish they were a bit cheaper, as there is a BIG difference (double price!) from the other version without clamps (that's why I put 4 stars instead of 5!) I've already bought one of the no clamps versions (white model) but, allthough it's very nice quallity and it's fine for a laptop stand, they don't have flat legs, so it's difficult to place a second device on them, to save space on your desktop! So, I had to order the other (double priced) version, just for that! A third (new!) version with NO clamps but with FLAT legs and a cheaper price it would be a fine idea to fill the gap!

Stable, height adjustable, clamp or screw mount
Very pleased with the range of heights of this stand, saves my laptop cluttering up my desk so I can clutter it up with more stuff.

Great laptop stand for a reasonable price
Great laptop stand, does it's work perfectly. Made from metal, stable and solid, nothing can really go ever wrong with it. I found price very reasonable as well.
However, had to rate 4/5 in total, because of the packaging: the box is plain, without any titles, indications, when you open it you just find a bunch of metal pieces, no instructions, manuals - nothing else is included. Found it a bit disturbing and even if there are not that many of those pieces, still have to spend some time to sort it out and understand how to build the stand. However, after it was done, I was really happy with it, let me assure you that the build quality of the product is really good and it will look very nice on any DJ table.

Works great, but isn't practical live.
Top stand, very sturdy, and no chance of my laptop slipping off. But it would have been nice to have seen something collapsable, and rack mountable, like a pair of rack mounts, that bolts on on top of a 19" mixing desk rack, that could fold up or down flat for storage. Good stand this one, but a pain to set up and pack away at gigs, collapsable with added rack mounting, would be better. Good solid stand when up though.

More than adequate
I use two of these for traktor s2 and a laptop. The stands easily and safely keep these in position, even with pulling and pushing from DJing. In terms of value, they're highly recommended for pro or amateur set ups.
