Got this cajon for my birthday. I have played drums now for 5 years or so and decided to expand into more percussion aswell as an actual drum kit. So I got this cajon as it is relitively cheap. First of it looks absolutely amazing and I would be happy to play it on a stage. Now for the important bit, the sound. When it first came out of the box the guitar strings were so tight you could hear them making a sort of buzzing sound but not at all like a snare drum sound, so I used the alum key included and started to fiddle about with the tuning of it. After about 15 minutes I got a relitively good sound out of it. I have done a few acoustic gigs with this cajon and have also used it in church numerous times. So all in all this is a great looking cajon and with a little adjustment it sounds amazing too, also you won't have to break the bank to be able to afford it!
If you're looking for a medium-price Cajon, this is the one. Sounds great and looks even better. I recommend fine-tuning and adjusting it a bit for the best possible bang for your buck, but it's definitely worth the price. Great for small, unplugged gigs!
