Great Sound, Fantastic Looks. Exceptional Value

I was looking a new set of cymbals with a less bright tone that my usual set and came across the Meinl Classic Custom Dark range. I have to say that they are the most visual dramatic set of cymbals that I've come across and I was very impressed by samples of the sounds so I bought a basic starter set. When I got them delivered they were even better than I was expecting. So I decided to expand the set and added a small 10" splash and this 18" China. Again I am very pleased with the look and typical 'trashy' China sound. I am a gigging drummer playing rock music and the cymbals needed to cut though but not overpower things. Oddly enough my band have been complaining that my regular top line cymbal were TOO bright. So while I was myself intereste d in trying something different I didnt want to spend £1000's on another premium range. I wanted value for money and these are a great range at a great price. Highly recommended.

Perfect for Rock & Metal

Great china

At first i was not sure how good this china was actually going to be, but after more research and convincing myself to buy it, it was worth every penny. This china is an incredible cymbal and it performs perfectly for anyone that plays anything metal. Also a tip for other people looking for cymbals, dont use the Thomann sound checks, use YouTube, you can hear the full performance of the cymbal. So do NOT be sceptical, meinl definitely knew what they we're doing with this one.

Es ist ein wirklich gutes China-Becken. Super Design und exzellenter, chinatypischer Klang.

Es hat einen schönen, grellen Anschlag, eben chinatypisch. Der Sustain ist dagegen etwas dunkler, was mir persönlich sehr gefällt. Im Gegensatz zum normalen Classics 18" China ist auf jeden Fall viel Trashiger und aggresiver. Die Verarbeitung ist auch echt gut, bis Dato keine Probleme. Dieses China hat ein sehr stabiles Metall, weswegen es (bis jetzt) noch keinerlei Dellen, bzw. Biegungen hat. Einziges Manko war, dass am Anfang ein wenig schwarzes Pulver an der Glocke hing, welches abfärbte. Dieses konnte man aber mit Wasser gut wegwaschen.

Fazit: Es ist meiner Meinung nach ein sehr gutes, dunkles, etwas trashiges China, welches mit guter Stabilität und schönem Design trumpfen kann. Mich hat es überzeugt! :)
