These strings happen to combine a fine price and tone quality!

Of course one should notice, that strings for acoustic basses are not overflowing the market. So the number of choices are naturally smaller than for acoustic guitars. But I was able to test different kinds of strings for acoustic basses and I was indeed very surprised to find, that these Martin strings provide a very natural overall sound, both in matters of frequency range and tone. They sound brilliantly in high freq. tones and deep for low freqs. The latter is not self evident! A lot of other strings seem to swallow the deep growl feeling one wants and sound a bit tinny instead. These don't! The shiny bronze plating looks nice and it takes a lot of playing and with it perspiration to get these strings to look old. Even without the unbeatable price in mind, these strings are very recommendable for acoustic basses. But as I said. The price is indeed unbeatable. If you are looking for good acoustic bass strings. Take 'em!

Cordes Martin pour basse acoustiques.

Sonorité: Je n'utilise plus que ce types de cordes sur ma basse acoustique. En effet, elles confèrent une brillance particulière au son et ce pendant de nombreuses semaines.

Problèmes: Jamais de corde cassée, même au slap (que je pratique de façon énergique et récurrente). Le prix très abordable de ces cordes (en effet elles ne coutent qu'une quinzaine d'euros contre 30 euros minimum pour des cordes d'une autre corde de même qualité) me permet d'en changer plus régulièrement et donc de conserver une qualité de jeu bien plus durable. Ces cordes rendent également le jeu au médiator très correct.

Conclusion: Tenue de la brillance d'origine, peu ou pas de bris de cordes, un son plyvalent, que demander de plus?

Prima Saiten für den Akkustik Bass

Nachdem ich einige günstige, unter anderem auch E-Bass Saiten auf meinem Akkustikbass ausprobiert habe, bin ich duchr die freundliche Beratung im Hause Thomann auf diesen Satz gestossen.

Der Klang des Instuments entspricht nun genau meinen Vorstellungen; voller und runder Basssound ohne schlaff zu klingen und ohne aufdringliche Höhenanteile, die ich bei diesem Instrument nicht mag.

Klare Kaufempfehlung für diesen Saitensatz.

Buen sonido a un precio económico

Pros:
-Un sonido muy brillante y definido.
-Gran relación calidad/precio.

Contras:
-El sonido es muy bueno el primer mes, pero después pierde demasiado. Es normal que las cuerdas pierdan brillo con el tiempo, pero comparadas con otras cuerdas de otras marcas estas lo pierden más y más rápido.

Buenas cuerdas para usar para ensayos y conciertos normales, pero cuando necesites las grabaciones y los conciertos importantes es mejor que te rasques un poco el bolsillo y compres curdas de calidad superior.
