I spend a lot of time walking, or running across town from the nearest available parking spot to the music venue. This bag with shoulder strap is a big plus for me.
The hard top on the bag makes pushing through spring loaded doors easy, knowing there is gonna be no damage done to my "small but plenty loud" PA system.
The bag itself looks OK for the long run and has the usual 3 year Thomann warranty. BUT, the Velcro topped end pockets on the bag are far too small and will not take a microphone. If you do get a microphone in a pocket and you pick the bag up by the handle (not the carrying strap), the pocket instantly ejects its entire contents onto the floor (inc mic) out of the pockets Velcro'd flap.
There is also a hole "thing" for a pole mount while the Freeplay is still in the bag, but there is "NO" access to the back panel for guitar and mic, etc, to plug in while on a pole & still in the bag? I suppose there is some reason for all this, but what?
A pretty good bag for protecting the Freeplay & its plug in power supply (in one of the velcro'd pockets), half the price would be OK (come on Gator), but make the pockets bigger.
