Excellent as an overall

Used this djembe for performing live several times and it's satisfying.

The best thing about this djembe in my opinion is the bass. The bass is powerful is you play it at a low tuning. You might wanna consider some high quality audio recorder if you wanna record yourself playing this at a low tuning as the bass frequency is really low for some low quality audio recorders to pick it up. That's how strong the bass is. The slaps and tones? Simply excellent.

The cons: Since it's goat skin, temperature of environment has a huge effect on the tuning. So make sure to bring a wrench always if you're planning to use this for performing somewhere. Some placed can be really cold, making the tuning higher than expected, and vice versa at high temperature areas.

Moreover, the djembe is pretty heavy. But I don't really mind because I've always liked heavy djembes so it won't move around when I'm playing in crazy mode.

Overall, excellent, kind of close to perfect.

LP aspire djembe in a swing way

It?s very nice to play with brushes jazz /swing rhythms, a modern and metallic sound to play a variety of world percussion. I combine with a cajon and Istanbul Mehmet Hi-Hat, zildjian dark thin crash 16 and Zildjian splash. It?s a great drum to play for my adventures in smooth way to enjoy music.
