Good mics for the price.

There is not much to say about these microphones. If you have a decent sounding room, find the right position for the mics and have a good preamp, the sound is of the Lewitt LCT mics is fantastic. The sound is much more musical than many other mics in a similar price range. I've recorded a lot of acoustic instruments like guitar and piano and my go-to mics are a pair of Schoeps. But if you are working on a budget or don't want to spent an arm and a leg for your overheads/stereo-pair you can't go wrong with these.

I haven't really used the high-freq. enhancer or "Air" switch but I guess in some recording situation it can add a nice shimmer (close guitar mic comes to mind).

They don't feel as "sturdy" as other small diaphragm condensers but thats not a big issue if you use them in the studio or at home. I would definitely buy them again.

Sounding bright and full without being sharp

Really happy with these cardioids. Good bang for the buck. The switches, air, filter and pad, give me the tendency to shape the sound a bit earlier in the recording and mixing proces.

Je cherche depuis longtemps (très ... longtemps) le couple parfait pour l'enregistrement des guitares acoustiques ... après avoir essayé nombre de marques dont certaines hors de prix, je me suis dit pourquoi pas cette ensemble "matched pair" et là ... ze claque ...pas besoin d'une "chain" avec 28 compresseurs - ehanceur- équaliseurs et multi-thermomix machin truc ...
tu branches, tu joues et ça sonne direct ...

Bref ... la question est vite répondue ...
