Sturdy except in challenging environments
This is a heavy, solidly built, tall stand. It is great for drum overheads, which I primarily use it for. For 90% of uses it excels.
However, at my practice room I have tested its limitations. The floorboards there bounce under pressure. This stand then wobbles from the base. When this stand is still you can test this by gently pushing it. Even when securely tightened it gently wobbles from the base. But this is only an issue if the stand is made to move in the first place.
I am happy with this stand. To get absolute stability in my unfavourable room I would need to go to the final tier of microphone stands with the most solid bases.

Excellent, but heavy
I love K&M mic stands, and this one is great, but it is very heavy. That's probably a good thing for stability, but not so good if you have to carry it from gig to gig.
