A worthy investment for any keyboardist with multiple boards or devices, in the studio or on the road. The Spider is slightly weighty at around 9kg, but its durability more than makes up for it. The wide leg design provides fantastic pedal board real estate and makes the stand very stable in a gig situation where it would otherwise be easily knocked over accidentally.
After two years' use the threads on the fasteners for the height adjustment on the arms stripped, but they were promptly replaced free of charge by a local K&M agent (K&M cover manufacturing defects for ten years).
I use this stand every week and it's proving solid, stable and reliable. I am using it with a workstation and a much lighter Nord, however I have tried it also with a much heavier Studiologic Fatar and there's absolutely no problem. I would have no problem recommending this stand.
The only reason I took one star off from the max possible five is the lack of opportunities to expand / upgrade: its PRO counterpart is widely upgradeable with all sort of extra attachments, the same does not happen for this model and you're pretty much stuck with two tiers and no boom mic / iPad holder / etc unless you want to buy the top with the boom mic thread.
The upper tier does not tilt like in the PRO, and as far as I go it's better like that, since the arm is in a more natural poise.
Also the tightening screws might lose their thread if you screw them too tight: it seems only a little screwing goes a long way, and actually the lower tier has been able to support the workstation without screwing it in at all! Not too tight on those things, then.
All in all: looks good, does the job, nice and solid
