very light violin case

I bought this mostly because of the shoulder straps. It's a pretty cheap case (which is what I wanted), but seems to hold up to some abuse, saving the violin from said abuse.

It's got a reasonably tough material outer layer and a dense polystyrene inner, which is nicely felted inside and comes with a cloth to cover the violin. Space for 2 bows.

It's got a good sized compartment inside and a not quite A4 pocket on the outside (you can fit A4 paper in if you curl the edges a little).

Etui violon correct

Cet étui est très simple, basique. Il est aussi un des moins chères aussi.
La finition est correcte, il vient avec une petite serviette très pratique pour protéger le violon de l'archet, un pochette à l'extérieur. C'est un produit très basique, bien fait et discret.

Das Case ist absolut ausreichend für den schmalen Geldbeutel. Die Geige (Yamaha V20G) hat gut Platz und ist sicher verstaut. Sogar meine Schulterstütze mit langen, nicht einklappbaren Füssen passte gerade noch so neben die Schnecke. Das Zubehörfach ist sehr überschaulich. Aber es passen Kolophon, Stimmgerät, Hoteldämpfer und Hygrometer rein. Dann ist es aber auch randvoll. Die Samtabdeckung insgesamt ist im Vergleich zu anderen mir bekannten Abdeckungen etwas "labberig" und meiner Meinung nach etwas zu schmal. Sie neigt dazu sich längs zusammen zu raffen. Diese könnte daher etwas breiter und auch in sich etwas steifer sein. Die Rückengurte sind "minimalistisch", erfüllen aber ihren Zweck. Der Bogen passt auch gut. Für den Preis Top. Für die schmale Samtabdeckung einen Stern Abzug.
