This looper is absolutely minuscule, which is both good and bad.
On the positive side it's feature packed, it takes almost no space on the pedal board and 15min of recording time with infinite overdubs is great. Very useful the button for the looping volume. It's quite heavy for it's size, which gives a feel that it can take a beating.
There are a few negatives because is so small:
1. The output patch cable cannot be cabled upwards as it covers the power input; 2. The scales on the small knobs are so small, no way to tell where is at unless hunching over to see them, the half moon design is also not very clear; 3. It has so many features but they are all packed into the single switch, I which they could've kept it simpler and removed the Speed Up or Down functions from the switch and just left it just for the dedicated button, there are so many tap/double tap/long tap that is quite confusing and I keep going into some function I don't want to.
In summary it's very good but there a few compromises due to the size.
If you need a looper that can hold different loops for a verse and chorus, say, then this is not for you. However, as a tool for practice or for multi-layered single loops, this is really great.
Although small, it has the two most useful controls - instrument level and loop level - and even though there is only one foot-switch, just about everything you need is there. You need a power supply, which does not come with the unit - and for that they loose the odd star.
