Schott Horn-Schule Vol.2 Höltzel
Horn Music Book Volume 2In this textbook, the explanatory text is deliberately brought to the fore. Students and teachers are comprehensively informed about didactic-, musical and technical questions. The exercises and songs - each for Horn in B and F beginning in the smallest range with systematic introduction of the valves - are designed to promote the fun of blowing horns. Theoretical essays on approach, breathing etc. are concluded so that the practical instructions for the beginner are not interrupted. Basic musical knowledge is assumed for two reasons: Firstly, it often turns out that horn students have already learned to read music in early musical education and, secondly, that many horns are the second instrument they want to play.
The second volume contains suitable teaching material as well as corresponding literature, which allows the horn student, who has just grown out of the initial difficulties, to steadily perfect his technique and his relaxed and playful manner. In all 12 keys, there are easier and more difficult exercises that teachers and students can choose according to their level of education.
