Great tuners, mind the hole size

I put this set on a Harley Benton SC-450Plus guitar, to replace the original set, which was faulty.

While the old and the new tuners are apparently identical, they are very different things. This replacement tuner set runs smooth and holds the tuning incredibly well! I only need to adjust tuning when temperature changes and the guitar materials change properties.

At this price, it would not be justified to buy anything else for a single cut guitar, unless I'd want a different design or finish. I repeat, they are flawless. The only thing I don't know is their reliability in time; I only used them for a few months.

The tuners look just like in the pictures, vintage nickel and the keys in that muddy opalescent green.

Cons: although from the same manufacturer, the replacement set was not matching the guitar. I could mount it by enlarging the holes, using a drill. This is an issue with Harley Benton product interoperability, rather than with this product.

a re-send for a bad one

the tuners that came on my L450 plus were horrible. they were so stiff and hard to tune.
the second the crew thomann heard about my problems with my guitar they told me they would be happy to change the the guitar but i preferred to keep that guitar so two thumbs up for customer service!!!.
so these tuners are very smooth to handle and they keep in tune pretty well.
and they look so nice!!!

Needed to replace crappy original tuners on my cheap acoustic. These fitted nicely and stay in tune much better. The plastic tuner buttons are a bit cheap feeling but still holding up.

Brittle plastic

The tuners are generally good, but the plastic leaves much to be desired. A small blow and it will crumble. As for the mechanism - it is excellent, I put these on my LP
