I will separate this review into different sections as follows:
General Info: I bought mine just over a year, as the new line of Fenders came out ('MX11'). At the time there was a sale on also, so I got mine for slightly less than they sell for today.
Build Quality: The instrument is finished to a very high standard. There are no dodgy joins, and everything is very secure. The neck is attached seamlessly, and the frets are beautifully level. Overall I really have no complaints over the build of the guitar, it is just excellent.
Sound Quality: You definitely hear the distinctive strat tone in the guitar, but I wouldn't say it's as clear as in the higher-end ones (obviously this is to be expected though). While the sound may sometimes be a little 'washed out', it really is very minor, and overall the sound is very good. You get a great variety with the three pickups, and it's very easy to manipulate with the controls/amp.
Conclusion: All in all, I don't think i could really have gotten a better guitar for the price. If it suits your style of music (which is a pretty wide spectrum with a strat), I would definitely recommend this product.
Amazing, authentic strat sound with a perfect look and some minor flaws which could be easily forgotten.
This Strat is built with good quality materials but some more attention to details should have been put. The most annoying thing for me is the frets which have not been beveled and tend to slightly "stick out" from the fretboard, not a big issue but could be uncomfortable for some players.
A part from that it's a great guitar. if you're looking for an authentic strat sound and you cannot afford the american one it's the way to go. Big plus for the tremolo which stays in tune surprisingly well.
