I got these to try something different. i had them on my jazz bass and liked them and then put them on an old p bass copy and they still sound good on that. they last a long time and are quite cheap to buy in the first place. i you have not tried stainless steel strings then give em a whirl and see for your self. they have typical fender quality and are an improvement to any tired old set.
I bought the Fender 7350 Stainless Steel strings for my twenty year old Warwick Fortress One. Up to now I always used Warwick strings in the first place. But I decided to try some other strings. The Fender strings are less expensive than Black Label by Warwick, but are they as good as Fender? I wanted to give them a chance. Up to now, I love the tone of these strings. It is very bright. Ideal for slapping. Fits perfectly to the active electronics of my Warwick. That is because of the material used: Stainless steel. The surface of the strings is rough. I would describe the tenson as very high. They keep the tone very well. Let's hope that this great, bright tone will not die in two or three weeks and that it will long a little bit longer than that.
