This came in perfect conditions out of the box: no dents/ scratches, no oxidation on metal parts, all worked fine. Only detected flaw was the separation line between white and black on the headstock, that is not following exactly the headstock contour but has waiving at places. This is noticeable only when looking carefully. I think one should be ready to accept these purely cosmetic flaws for the price. Volume and tone controls have a smooth action, and the knobs are properly mounted (not at an angle with the pot shaft, as occurred on my two MIA Gibsons). Controls have a progressive action. The overall guitar is on the heavy side. Bridge and stop tail are traditional pieces, doing their job right. Needless to say, the guitar is very versatile and lends itself especially to any type of rock and punk music (I played it straight into a Marshall amp). Having already a number of guitars with transparent paint that allows seeing the wood, I find the artic white colour quite pleasant, contributing to the no frills attitude of this guitar.

The pickups aren't that great, it's stays in tune pretty well, the action out-of-the-box is decent, and the Alpine White finish looks amazing...but the wood from the body feels pretty cheap, but for the money you pay it's totally great!!
Electric Guitar The Epiphone Les Paul Studio comes in a simple but elegant black finish and is modelled on the "Studio" models of its big American sister. Two humbuckers and the set-in neck provide...
