The Classic-T ME is my third guitar and boy was I stoked to get my hands on this Les Paul.
Unfortunately the out of the box finish was very poor. Massive fret buzz on the A string when fretting the 2nd through 5 fret. Going over the guitar, I noticed it had glue residue on the 7th fret wire, not just at the binding but on the top of the fret wire making it course to the touch.
All the fret wires had a pretty bad finish on them, overall.
The nut had small pieces of nut shrapnel on the fret side, stuck to it. Not properly removed when filing the nut slits.
After 2 hours of removing the factory installed strings, polishing each and every fret wire with steel wool, filing the nut and adding graphite to the nut slits and the bridge and putting on a fresh pair of 10's and adjusting the truss rod with half a turn, the buzzing went away.
Now it plays lovely and and it has made a welcome addition to my guitar pool.
Verdict. Great guitar if you're handy enough to fix the initial bad finish. Would not recommend this as a first guitar as the bad finish could put you off.
