This is one of the cheapest options out there, but in my opinion, it is the best value when balanced with looks and functionality.
It is so easy to set up with my elektron Octatrack. I did have problems using it with my elektron RYTM but that is due to a manufacturing issue with Elektron and the size of the screw holes in the sides of the RYTM (you can force them in eventually).
It's designed to elevate the elektron machine to a perfect viewing angle and the back finish on the wood really looks great along side the black Octatrack.
It only takes a second to dismantle if you were to take the unit to a gig and want to pack it away.
These side-cheeks by Erfindungsbüro Rest & Maier are well thought out in terms of design and are extremely easy to attach!
Included in the package are two side-cheeks and 4 screws to attach them to your Elektron gear.
You simply attach the screws to the Elektron gear and then slot the side-cheeks on. It takes a small amount of pressure to pop the side-cheeks on, so be sure to work on a stable surface! Once slotted on, the cheeks feel like they're attached quite firmly so there's no worry that they'll fall off!
One thing you may wish to consider getting are some sticky rubber feet to attach to the bottom of the side-cheeks to avoid slippage, if like me, you have a smooth desk space. I appreciate the reason for these not being included in the package is that E-RM have designed these stands to mount your gear at a shallow or steep angle, so there is no strict "bottom" to them.
