Helpful and useless at once!
After I bought this Gadget there was animated discussion about it.
I use it in the middle of the rounded front rod of my drumrack.
To be honest: Yes i bought it primarly for aesthetic purposes. The built in Level plate works fine, but when playing on uneven surfaces it is not helpful to adjust to 0 degrees because the whole drumkit looks crooked. Nevertheless the nameplate is made from good quality and Looks fine and professional.

Very good
This nameplate really adds to the look of my drum rack. I use a Millennium drum rack but have DW drums, so this really sets off the kit.
It is well made, and comes with an integrated level, which is useful when putting the rack together.
